The Healing Arts Studio, located in downtown Little Rock,
was founded in 2012 by Stephanie Goins, LCSW. Its mission is to
promote artistic expression, self development, healing, growth, and
creativity. Stephanie has partnered with local therapists and artists who
provide therapy and creative workshops from the space.
A space for growth and creation...Stephanie is an artist and pyschotherapist based in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker credentialed through the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board. She received both her Bachelors degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is receiving her Bachelors degree in Studio Art with a Sculpture emphasis from UALR as well.
Stephanie specializes in using the arts in a therapeutic manner by working through a humanistic-existential approach. She provides individual therapy, artist support, and group workshops from The Healing Arts Studio.
She has developed the "Creative Expressions" group therapy process and has implemented it in a number of settings including: at GAIN Inc. with individuals with serious mental illness, with acute psychiatric patients and geriatric patients at Baptist Medical Center, and with Veterans with PTSD, homeless Veterans, and Veterans in the Mental Health Clinic at the Little Rock VA.
